Samuel is raising awareness of Down's Syndrome

Samuel is raising awareness of Down's Syndrome

Published: 21/03/2019 By Hannah McCormack

Today is World Down Syndrome Day, some of the members of staff here at turpin barker armstrong can be seen wearing their official#LotsOfSocks and odd socks in aid of raising awareness and to ensure we #LeaveNoOneBehind

We have been privileged the last year to have employee Samuel Denne on board. Samuel, who has Down’s Syndrome, is a valued member of the tba Wealth team. We are hoping Samuel’s video gives anyone with Down’s Syndrome the confidence to seek paid employment just like any other person would.

Why socks? Well, because chromosomes look like socks and people with Down’s Syndrome have an extra chromosome! “Lots of Socks” is acknowledged around the world as being associated with Down’s syndrome.

Please like and share our photos and Samuel’s video to raise awareness #WDSD19
